Cedar Ridge Ranch, Sonora CA

I Continue to notice daily morning and evening barking and howling of dogs in the upper Cedar Ridge neighborhood. They sound like beagles or hounds, but I can't be sure. It sounds like feeding time for a large number of dogs. There are occasionl other outbreaks of excitement from these same dogs and they often get the whole neighborhood canine population going. It is quite disturbing. Is anyone else bothered by this same problem. Is this a legal (or illegal) business being carried on ? What might be done to fix this problem?

We too have been bothered by those dogs. We are full time residents and hear it almost every day. If we can locate the dog barking source, possibly we can inquire with the owners about the problem and try to fix it that way.

I think people should either disipline there dogs or get rid of them. Who wants to here dogs bark for hours! It's quite annoying. If there is a problem with barking in your area, call animal control they will handle it. You must log down some info about the time, day , and duration. If they keep barking after that, log info and call again. This can only happen a couple of times then the dog must be removed. Don't give up I won't. You must have address of resident also. Also keep your dog on your own property, I'am get tired of roaming dogs that go after my childern when playing. Maybe one day your dog won't come home(WHY?) think about it.

dogs bark....if it is a problem call animal comtrol. Nothing will change unless someone makes noise....those that are bothered need to make noise

I have a vacation home in Cedar Ridge and I get away from Tracy , so as not to hear the traffic and dogs , I will call the animal control and lodge a complaint ,,, however one needs to find out where they are coming from ...I do hear these dogs at night on the weekend and I find it annoying ..... however animal control is effective in tracy , i dont know about in tuolumne or sonora ..... ill keep my ears out
